This is to set the record straight on the Post that Battleaxe put up... "It's not our fault" I'm the person that all the uproar was about. Now let me tell you what happened. I saw a post by revmic, and he was selling some knives. I e-mailed him, and said that I would take them. I have dealt with many of you out there, and I never had a problem; But this time there was. Now, I do not like to use my disability as an excuse, and in fact sometimes I don't even like to tell people that I'm disabled. Anyway here is a little background info. people that are paralized are prone to UTI's (Urinary Tract Infections,) and a UTI knocks the hell out of you physically, and mentally! You get the Shakes, and then the sweats. This goes on day and night, until it runs it's course.
Now, my way of doing business is to get the information of who, and where to send the MO. I then make up an envelope, and put a note in it of how much, and what the MO is for. The next day I will send it out. Well, unfortunately I couldn't... for four days I had a 104 deg. fever, and Without going into details, I will just say that for those four days I wished that I were dead. Now, lets get back to revmic... he said that he e-mailed me... Thats a LIE! He did call, and I was still feeling kind of shaky, and I did fumble my words a little, and was a little disoriented; But it was because of the UTI. I didn't recognize who he was at first, and then I had realized after talking to him for a bit, that his money was not sent out. That is when I apologized to him, and told him about my disability, and I told him that I would get it out to him the next day. The next day I did just that. I also told him that it probably be there on Saturday. Saturday evening he sent me a nasty e-mail, because the MO didn't get there. He said the deal was off, and called me a few names. I replyed back, and told him, if thats the way you feel fine, but to check the date on the money order, and the post mark to prove that I did what I said I was going to do. So here it is broken down... He broke the deal, not me! He called once, I apoligized, and sent the MO when I said I would. He is ANAL RETENTIVE!
So if any of you deal with revmic, I hope you don't get sick.
As for Battleaxe... He, and I have become friends during the past few months, and we have had some deals. He had also answered the post, and when revmic canceled our deal... he called Battleaxe. Battleaxe was just mad, and sticking up for me. He didn't appreciate the way that he got the knives, and I thank him for that.
I just want to let you people know that I do not use my disability as an excuse, but that sometimes things do happen. In this case the only thing that happened is that the mail was a little late.
