Hi everybody, here are the first of my 2013 knives for sale.

To purchase, post an "I'll take x knife" in this thread then email me at markellmtthw@aol.com. I take USPS MO, Cashiers Check and Paypal.
These knives are sold without sheaths, I can make a basic leather sheath for an additional $20.

First up is a Modified Sheepsfoot Utility knife. This is a light, slicey knife, I use one like it all of the time in my shop.

Handle: Black Canvas Micarta finished to a low grit for grippiness
Hardware: Stainless pins and lanyard tube

3" cutting length, 7.25" OAL

Price: $150$140 shipped CONUS

Next I have one of my Small Hunter's Knife design. I designed it to be capable of skinning, bushcraft, camp work, pretty much anything you can throw at it. It's a very useful design in a nice compact size.

Specs:

Steel: 1/8" 1084, heat treated by Darrin Sanders to 59Rc
Handle: Black Canvas Micarta finished to a low grit for grippiness
Hardware: Stainless pins
Grind: Full Convex grind, swedge, etched finish
3.5" cutting length, 8" OAL

Price: $SOLD shipped CONUS

Here is another one of my Small Hunter's Knife design but with a modification. This one has a clipped point. The etched finish turned out a little uneven.

Specs:

Steel: 1/8" 1084, heat treated by Darrin Sanders to 59Rc
Handle: Black Walnut finished with 25-30 coats of TruOil
Hardware: Stainless pins
Grind: Full Convex grind, swedge, etched finish
3.5" cutting length, 8" OAL

Price: 165$150 shipped CONUS

Note that the wood has some water on it in this photo, it was snowing as I took these pictures. That's why the wood color looks uneven.

This last one is one of my earlier pieces, a chisel ground bushcrafter.

Specs:

Steel: 3/32" 1095, heat treated by Darrin Sanders to 60Rc
Handle: Black Linen micarta finished to a low grit for grippiness
Hardware: Stainless pins and lanyard tube
Grind: Chisel Saber Convex grind, low grit hand rubbed working finish
3.5" cutting length, 8.25" OAL

Price: $130$115 shipped CONUS

To all those looking at this ad:
I have noticed that my knives sell fairly slowly here. If you like the knives but don't want to buy one, shoot me an email telling me why not. I really want to know what you guys want.
Thanks
Matt

I don't think there is anything wrong with any of the blades, it is a timing issue. X-mas, New Year, fiscal cliff, all add up to if you have any extra funds, hold on to them. Your work is nice and clean, good designs, great heat treat, nice choice of colors, in some ways keep on donig what you are doing and build up some inventory and start selling them off in a couple of months. All the best and have a great New Year. Martin

I thought it was something like that, but I see other peoples work selling very quickly and it made me wonder.

Patience is key it seems

Thanks for the comments and happy New Year to you too Martin.

Agreed, I really like that sheepsfoot utility. I just can't justify the purchase, too many knives and not enough money.
