*He also ground the spine flush with the handles to avoid the "stair step" of the proud tang this model usually features...very "e" now!

#4. Stripped NMSFNO w/ OD Mashed Cat pancake...

*stripper, logo not etched
*user, no abject abuse
*sharpened, very dangerously sharp at that! Be Careful...
*blade faces have various horizontal scratches, not super deep but quite visible from certain angles. IMHO, they could be sanded out easily if you're OCD about those types of things on your users.
*Olive Drab Mashed Cat sheath with long nylon loop included, fitment is a bit loosey goosey and you can shake the blade out if you really crank it. It may come out if you fall off a 50 ft cliff and make a one point landing on your coconut-- aside from that you're probably GTG.

*used, but recently back from Wauseon with a new Sage paint job...unused since then...SPIFFY
*Skinny ASH-1's are the most nimble of the Steel Hearts for me and I'll always own a couple, but this one is too beautifully authentic for me to abuse!
*beautiful patina'd black canvas Micarta handles
*Black Mashed Cat pancake with PURRRFECT retention IMHO. You can't coax a rattle out of this sheath, but it draws easily & smoooooth!
