How could anyone possibly forget the two Mayo TNT's?
I thought my 3.4" LH med recurve was sufficient, until I got a chance to handle Kawanin's XLG. Wow. I'm going to remedy that problem real soon!

And Nifrand was a hoot to boot. Loved his knife show stories, especially the one about that little incident up in Solvang.
He also explained to me what to look for in a good slipjoint, having displayed some beautiful examples there. Though they're still not my cup of tea, I came away more appreciative of the work that goes into making them, especially since he kept emphasizing how much more difficult they are to make than most "tacticals." :P

All in all, a great location that was spacious enough. And I didn't see one drunk all night.

Ah yes the TNT, very light and sharp but handles were a little slick for my sometimes sweaty hands.

There was also the Dozier Razorback with a black handle. Very much a good feeling utility neck knife with a wide but flat kydex.

To add to the story, my block experienced a blackout (not rolling) and yet people still partied at 2AM in the dark. The Photons came real handy as I worked my way to getting the Maglite and candles. I only saw one drunk, who decided to sleep in my neighbor's entranceway but woke up and left after an hour.
