I'm a new knifemaker and I've been completely bitten by the obsession.
Right now I'm more of a knife blank buyer and scale putter-oner.

I live in the SF Bay Area and would be eternally greatful to anyone in the area who wouldn't mind a guy coming over, hanging around the shop for a couple hours and learning.

I'm moving rapidly into the stock removal stage and have a lot of questions for those doing it. Just a warning, I'll try to make them good questions, but a few may be dumb. If you don't mind humoring some, I would sincerely appreciate it.
