SFC=Sheeple Friendly Cutlery

Dang! I was using my mantra; Resist! Resist! Resist! Then you go and type the magic word- Wharnie. OK, resistance is futile. I'll take a wharnie with whatever wood handle you wanna put on it. Just let me know how you want the payment made. I'm already looking forward to it. Don't feel any pressure, but is it ready yet.

Greg

Very nice!

I'd be in for one of these as well. My personal preference (like Lycosa) would be for a tanto, but the original style looks good too.

will, im bumping this to number 2 on my list, when do you think you will have some ready for sale? id like an original with whatever you think will look nice as handle material..

It'll most likely be around 3 weeks guys.... I really didn't expect this  I've got a Golok of Doom, custom oyter knife and 2 of my EDK's then I can get these done... I'll probably do a batch of 5-10.

If you want a SFC please shoot an email to will46r@yahoo dot com with SFC in the subject line. Please tell me what type of handle material and blade style. That way I can enter all this into my order spread sheet.

It's very humbling to me for people to be interested in my work. Thank you.

Oh yeah... Rolf (Lycosa) isn't going to order from me, he'll just tell Po to make something similar :p Love em both to death though.

Hmmm I wasn't really doing this to shill for sales, just kind of wanted feedback. I do plan on making more.... would people prefer wood or G10 handles? I was also thinking if I could get them water jet cut I could offer interchangable handles in G10.

NO Rolf... bad Rolf, bad bad bad..... :p

Definitely wood. Even more sheeple friendly.

so, how much :D

Cybrok, I'm going to say the first batch will go out at $35 plus shipping... so to Canada that'd be like $59879866 dollars. :p

Depending on how horrible it is to grind a bunch of these I may have to get some more ninja monkeys to toil at the forge.

I hope I didn't get in too late on this. I can wait for the second batch though. I like neckers and keychain knives because they are always the ones you have when you need a knife. No warncliffe or tanto for me though, just a good ole drop point.

i always heard that those ninja monkeys were metallurgical wizards... :p:D

I'll take a warnie with wood handles if you make more. I'll pay whenever, just let me know

That little guy is very cute, but I'd rather a wharnie like that. Please no cocobolo for me though (mildly allergic to it :( ).

i think for that knife a curved edge is best because it offers more length. Might be harder to sharpen though.

I would be interested in one too. Might make a kydex sheath for myself though.

Depending on what a warnie looks like I might get one though.

What carbon steel do you use? I want to make sure it doesnt rust badly here in hawaii

wow, seems a few people missed this when you first posted will, hopefully there is enough people to get a second batch going later on.

Wowwww

Thank you for the comments and the interest shown in my work. It's very humbling to me as a knifemaker for people to desire my work.

Guys if you would please do me a favor. I can't keep up with what people want in a thread. If you would like to order one, shoot me an email to will46r AT yahoo.com with "SFC" in the subject line. Please include the blade style, drop point, wharnie or tanto, desired handle material ( I only have red or maroon micarta), stainless or copper pins and leather or .093 kydex for sheath options. It'll be at least 3 weeks because I have Batson's Hammer In next weekend and I have to get some knives finished up to show the Mastersmiths to get critiqued (painful at best :( ).

Thanks again for the interest.
