The actual, verifiable time JB posted was ... some time during 9:53:00 - 9:53:59. :p
 
Hope I did this right,my first emails was sent at 9:53 I then saw the sticky posted at 9:59 and sent the emails again.

Our computers will time stamp emails differently based on the computer's clock. For example, I keep my computer fast, so I won't be late to meetings, so my email, sent at 9:54 Official U.S. Time, was time stamped by my computer at 9:56:39. I was following official U.S. time in a second browser window, and thought we were gonna hit the automatic go!

I have 2 Questions though.

1) Does Busse recognize order based on the order of emails in their inbox, or on the time stamp of the emails they get? My computer preserves the sender's time stamp, so hopefully Busse does it by how the emails stack in their inbox, and not by time. Anyone know?

2) If the Official U.S. Clock had hit 9:55 and Jerry still had not posted, but the forums were not shut down, should we all send our emails then, or do we still have to wait and see if he posts in the last 5 min.? Unfortunately, the directions do not make this clear.
 
The pages were slow for me tonight and kept hanging - Damn you DSL.
I was probably to slow at 9:54. Oh well.

Lots of poor piglets got trampled tonight. Gotta watch out for that HOG treachery! If you sent before the Oinkfficial "GO", you're out of the game tonight.

Yep, I agree, was probably right before 9:54, because my browser was refreshing pretty well, and I saw his post at 9:54 and change Official U.S. Time.

Sure hope they disregard all the time stamps on our emails, and just go by the order of the emails in their inbox, after a certain email that they are sure came in after Jerry's post. My time stamp would put me at least two minutes after when I actually sent it, and other folks' stamps may seem to put them before his post, when in fact they sent it after.
 
Oink. My cable modem decided to get stuck at the just the wrong moment so I had to power cycle it. Probably just as well. What was I going to do with FIFTY of the same knife?!? grunt.

Could be true. There were over 180 people watching over at the Busse Combat forum. Since usually there's like none to a few, that means all those were there for the Ganzaa. Add to that any folks that were watching on BFC and not on the other forum. Then add to that multiple orders. Then add to that proxy orders for non-Hogs, and this could be the meanest ganzaa yet!

My computer wanted to up date at 9:45 with a fake Go I panicked.

Reading the rules, the only way the 9:55 Emergency was in effect is if the servers were locked. Servers were still running and it seems the Oinkficial time was 9:53.

With the limited run tonight, this 'ganza had to be error free!

I'm pretty sure it's been posted in past Ganzaaa's that they go by the order of the e-mails in the Busse inbox. Any received prior to the official "GO" time from Jerry get put in the back of the line. Not sure what clock Jerry uses for when his official "GO" time is though.
