I have heard people mention the SFNO and the SFNO Fatty. I bought mine from the secondary market and am unaware of which models I have. What were the two thicknesses offered in the SFNO lign-up?

One of mine mics out at .375 (or 3/8") at the spine. I'm guessing this is the Fatty.

Heres a pic of it.

GOTCHA!!! :p :D

No but I really would like to know what thicknesses they came in.

From our forum:

Their are, however, "fatty" SFNOs. The standard thickness on the SFNO is .220 while a select few (from what I understand) are .270. Magnum slabs were an option I think. I have a standard SFNO, and the handle feels secure, but I would be interested in trying the magnum slabs. I hope this helps.

IIRC, fat SFNOs were a Busse Company Store special item, and they were only available with the black coating.
Who knows what options will be available next time.

The Fatties are black with tiger striped mircarta, no?

I believe that all non custom ones are too.

They also had them with black canvas micarta

My standard one, is .220 and my bigger version is .225.

The one I just sold measured .2695" and it was black with magnum black linen scales.

Pictures:
First one attached is Satin std with Mag slabs
Second is Fatty with Mag handles, believe all fatties came with Mag slabs
