This is part of the "Help Danbo buy a new truck" sale. :)

The Sfreddo(second from top) is forged 52100, with about a 7" blade and has a killer piece of Sambar Stag for the handle. Nice leather sheath comes with it. $575 shipped.

The Vilar integral(second knife from bottom) is actually one of the 5 knives Ricardo submitted in his succesful quest to become the first Brazilian ABS Journeyman smith. Knife is forged 52100 and has a cutting edge of 4" or so(maybe a tad more). Handle is mortis tang construction black micarta. Kydex sheath could be a little tighter IMO, but somebody with kydex skills could quickly and easily remedy that. This knife is very thinly ground and very pointy. I did swipe it on a fine stone a few times, and it has a couple of teeny kydex rubs, but still in excellent condition. $250 shipped on this one.

Ok, I found my truck and now I gotta scrape up some cash for the down payment. Howzabout $500 shipped for the Sfreddo and $210 shipped for the Vilar?

I saw both of these at Blade and they are terrific knives. The Sfreddo in particular is a steal for a forged stag integral.

A truck Fund Folks what more noble cause!!
Dan knows Quality and none more fair than he

$475 shipped on the Sfreddo and $200 for the Vilar.

Will consider trades for Sebenzas; possibly wood or leather inlayed versions.

Vilar is sold, pending payment. Sfreddo back on the market, and reduced to $425 shipped.

Especially nice work on that integral hilt—the rounded segment is very eye catching. If fit and finish of stag to steel is as good as it looks in the pics, that’s got to be an impressive piece. I like the beveled stag at the butt, also.

Is the hamon etched? I’m seeing something just ahead of the heel of the blade?

Can’t believe a big Sfreddo of this quality is still hanging around at this price.

Man, you're not kidding. :( This is an outrageous bargain. If I didn't have a small truckload of knives due in soon, I'd have grabbed this a while back.

I got to handle this one at Blade and it was as close to perfect as you could ask of human eyes and hands. I seem to recall that there was a visible hamon, but the knife wasn't etched / polished to make it really jump out. It does have a very fine-grit hand rubbed finish though, which is my preference.

Well, I got the truck and also 4 more years of payments. Price drop on the Sfreddo to $330 shipped. Believe me, whoever buys this knife will love it.

Dambo, for that price, I guess you should think about keeping it. Just my 2 cents.

Thank God!
Can't tell you how many times I had to pull my right arm away from the phone with my left. (I just have too much stuff on order.)

Like a lot of folks who posted here, I got to fondle this pup at Blade and loved it.

This knife was a steal at the original price. Someone is going to be quite happy!
