Sfreddo Turkish Twist Integral

This is really one incredible bowie! There is'nt one thing about it I don't like, except maybe that it does'nt belong to me!!!:D

Thanks for sharing! Really enjoyed the pictures and commentary. Bowies are not usually my "thing," but this one I really liked.

Paul

Thanks for the excellent comments guys.

Coop - I am trying to develop my photography more toward conveying a feeling or emotion associated with a Knife, this of course has a trade off in terms of compromising "completeness" and "clarity" which are the prerequisites of product shots that you do incredibly well, I see little satisfaction for myself in pure mimicry. :D;)

Cheers,

Stephen

Stephen - I appreciate your telling the story your way, in pictures and words that are uniquely your own. The knife is terrific and the maker is talented, but the voltage is in the experience.

It could just Alaska rotten broadband service but the pictures won't show. It's driving us batty not getting to see this piece! If anyone could repost or email them we would sure appreciate it. Thanks to Stephen for sharing!

This is a 3 year old thread and as far as I can see Stephen has withdrawn all his pics (not only these).

:D I didn't notice the date of thread right away either! Stephen F's absense had recently been mentioned, and I had thought he was BACK!

Ahh soorry about the date ive been browsing through and havent noticed. So sorry. Is it possible in any ay to get a pic emailed or see it elsewhere? Thx in advance.
Cheers

Stephen has probably let his Fototime paid subscription lapse. I notice his latest posts are using Photobucket (:() I am certain he still has all these images and they are WORTH seeing again. VERY doubtful he's removed them on purpose.

One of the better knife photographers on the planet.

I assume it's OK to re-post these since they were once here:

Here's another older Sfreddo pieces for your viewing pleasure.

I see a Tim Hancock influence here as some of Rodrigo's older bowies/fighters seem to have:

I prefer the look that you describe as the "Tim Hancock" look, far more than what I would call

the South American or Brazilian look ("round ball" between handle and blade). Not that one is "better"

than the other - just a matter of preference for me.
