Sgian Dubh blank

Hi, I'm looking to assemble my
own Skean Dubh. I was hoping to
find a finished blade. I have
some ebony I can use for the
handle and I've done some leather
work before. I can't seem to find
anything on the web that will do
the trick. Does anyone have any
suggestions about where to look?

Try atlantra cutlery, they have a website,(atlantacutlery.com) but also have a catalog that is $3. They have a few knife making supplies in their catalog, which if I can remember correctly, contains a blade for a Skean Dubh. Hope this helps.

hi piper, have you ever checked out www.tinkerblades.com. this guy has some great scottish knives and might sell you a blade.
