Team Alpha to Brown Leader, Team Alpha to Brown Leader.
The LeatherMan is down. Repeat, the LeatherMan is down.
We need a new sheathmaker here ASAP.
Team Alpha clear, continuing with assignment.

oh, and :p

that reminds me, gotta go bug Eric about something.......

At the risk of being fed baited cheese at my other home, here is my honest opinion. :D

I prefer the SH-e :D as an all round bush knife. Opposite to Progunner I prefer the dropped point on the SH-e. It makes a far better skinner.

As far as handle comfort goes I prefer the RW.

Weighing up the likes and dislikes :D when it comes down to grabbing one of them to go live in the bush for six months or so, I’d grab the SH-e every time.

Ian. :D

BTW, If this had included the SFNO, my response would be different again. ;)

Don't have a Ratweiler, but I'll never let my SH-E go. It was one of my first
Busses'. Like Ian, I prefer the drop point for skinning purposes and I think the Sh-e is one of the best designs for a do-all field knife.

From an aesthetics point of view the Ratweiler wins hands down. I have not handled a Ratweiler and I am still waiting for mine to arrive since August, but If I had to choose one it would be the SH-E. I have an SH affair and if I could only keep one style of blade it would be the SH.
