SH - E vs. Steel Heart w/ straight handle

Can anyone tell me how many Steel Hearts with the new E handle were made compared to the straight handled model? Thanks.
 
Bigtree, I believe the factory is still cranking out the SH-E model. So no way to get an exact number on those yet. As for the number of straight handled SH that were made, I defer to the Busse team on that.
 
I may be wrong, but, rumour has it that the E-Handled line of Busse Combat Knives have been breaking previous sales records.
 
The Steel Heart E has quickly out-paced the Straight handled Steel Heart II in sales. I believe it appeals to a much larger market than did the straight handled version. We do not currently release specific production numbers on any of our standard models but it should be noted that the straight handled versions have had quite a few years head start on the "E" models. Nonetheless, the "E" models will soon be catching up in total numbers.

Hey guys thanks for the reply. Jerry I was also wondering when the next change would come for the E handles to a different style or if you were just going to stick with the E handle for a while.
