Shadow and Mountaineer difference

Hi guys,

Is the only difference between the two the guard? Also what is A2 steel like? Is it harder to sharpen than other steels? What is the corrosion resistance like?

Your right, the guard is a difference. The tip is also another. The Mtn is a clip and the shadow a Drop point. The A2 is fairly easy to sharpen! The corrosion resistence is improved due to the coating, but as with all carbon steels, will rust if not taken care of.

there is no coating inside the handles.
