Congrats on the Shadow IV, it's one of the very best knives CRK has ever made for the Camping use. Tomorrow I will try to get off a few pic's of a very special one I have, that is like no other. It's real cool and rare. Post up some pic's of yours when your able too!

Withdrawn due to brain fade. I shouldn't be on the computer reading Mk VI and Shadow posts at 0300, much less trying to write one. Sigh... At least we got to see some really nice pictures. Thanks for those.

Single guard Shadow is a special request order. Contact CRK for more info and pricing. Also I have seen a few floating around.

I had a regular dual guard Shadow IV but could never get my thumb comfortable on the top guard. This single guard variant looks perfect. Although, the phrase "special request" combined with CRK sounds expensive... I'll keep my eye out for a used one.

I sent CRK an email asking about this "special feature" and it's only an additional $23.

I just scored a Shadow III single guard. I have a Shadow IV (double guard), great for camping, and now I have EDC covered as well, should I choose.

I also have a single guard Shadow IV. It is a great blade, just be sure to request the pouch sheath for it.

Stormstaff, the Shadow IV fits great in any of the 6" Spec-Ops sheaths. Actually you will want to take out the liner for a more perfect fit (heat and mold it), less rattling around.:thumbup: If you would like a pic of a Shadow IV in a particuler color sheath, let me know and I can take one for you tomorrow morning.
