Shadow IV

Stormstaff, here are some different sheath offerings for your consideration.
Blk. Spec-Ops 6" sheath, CRK standard Shadow IV mid size sheath and a CRK green beret leather sheath.

The Shadow IV with the Hex cap is a special Shadow IV, with a longer larger handle and thicker blade. The other Shadow IV is normal sized.

Looks like the knife fits that sheath well. You mentioned taking the insert out, heating it and "reforming" it so that it's a tighter fit. How exactly is that done? It may sound/be really easy but since I've never done anything like that it's all strange to me. Any sites/blogs that may show pics of this process unless it's really alot easier than I'm being worried about.

Just like kydex, you can boil it lightly to shape it or a blow dryer, heat gun works best.

Hello Hatari, the knife is one of the strangest things I ever saw. It has the blade thinkness and handle of a Project I or II. But the blade measures 5.5" identical of the Shadow IV. It's almost like a cut down Project I or a Shadow IV of steriods.:eek::D
It's probably some experimental or proto that escaped or just a freak!:D I always favored it because of the added size and weight, it feels very comfortable in hand.
