This pattern was given to me by my friend Jerald Nickels. It has been one of my favorite patterns ever since Case came out with the Tony Bose designed saddlehorn. I am not sure if this one is Jerald's, Tony Bose's, or someone else's pattern but I really like it.

Gorgeous! Congratulations, Gene.

I have a custom Gene made for me, and it is superb. I swear by it.

That's a real looker.

I recently bought one of Gene's shadow folders with exactly the same materials, and the workmanship far surpasses the asking price. The edge bevels are meticulously uniform (and sharp!), the pivot is smooth as butter with a nice firm snap and the finish that Gene puts on his Micarta has a satiny feel that's downright addictive. I can't put it down!

Whoever reels-in this puppy is going to be extremely pleased.

Verrry nice Gene! I too have two of your folders and have to say they are under priced for the quality. With that said who ever gets this is going to have a very nice saddle horn. Mine have a very nice F@F and the blade has great pull not to mention it holds a edge for a long time. Gene your works keeps getting better. Martin

I love the profile of the clip blade on this one Gene. The curve along the spine gives it a more graceful look. I totally agree with Rick and Martin, the quality of Gene's work is terrific and this knife is a steal for a custom slip joint.
