This doesn't affect me at all negatively considering I have no funds for blades at the moment.

But

There have been at least 5 blades sold today in the busse combat area of the exchange "behind the scenes", with no posted intent to buy or " I'll take it".

Just seems a bit shady to me as its the rare hardly seen stuff.

Just sayin.
 
Actually, as I understand the selling rules the seller can make a deal any way they want. Nothing the matter with making a deal behind the scenes. It's done all the time.

And why do you care. Any seller can sell to any buyer they want. If someone or something someone does pisses you off then don't deal with them in the future. That is what most people do. I know I have.

Many of my great buys have been snaked in such a manner.

There are a lot of people who don't like posting in a thread, privacy maybe? I don't know or care.

They will take something via PM or email.....

Not sure what's wrong with buying that way?

The Busse folks are some of the finest folks on BFC. There is rarely any drama, very rarely is there controversy and never are there bad dealings among the established members.

Your first thread concerning a long term superb member of BFC made little sense, this thread makes even less.

Guys who own Busse knives decide to pick and chose who they wish to sell to, this IS America, yes?

Maybe you need to make friends, be humble and stop taking potshots and maybe, just maybe you might end up on a list of good guys everyone wants to sell knives to.

This is not the way to do it.............................
 
Let me see if I have this correct... you don't have any funds for any Busse knives at the moment but at least 5 were sold today on the exchange and you think it's shady because YOU don't know who the buyers were... does that pretty well sum up your thread ?

After this thread and the one you started about a well respected member like Tiburon... you sound like a good candidate for my ignore list :thumbup:

I wasn't one of today's 5; but I could have been, because I'm a pretty shady buyer. None of the purchases I've made on this site have started with, or even included, a post in the ad. Matter of fact - when a seller posts within the ad that an item was sold to me, I contact them asking that they remove my name.
So far, only one seller has tried to tell me that posting "I'll take it" was required in his ads...and he withdrew that when I declined & wished him well.
 
The irony. I wasn't going to say anything but when you made this thread.... Just today you backed out of a deal with me when I was under the impression the knife was sent two days ago. If any one is pulling crap around here it is you.

It gets a bit confusing but I will try to give you the readers digest version. He offered me a trade, I agreed. Then he said he wanted time to think about it. (Some stuff happens with other folks in the interim)... He came back and said he wanted to trade still. I agreed. He said he was going to ship it out last Saturday and that was the last I heard from him until today, when he said he didn't want to trade anymore.

I chose my words very poorly. I certainly feel stupid. I understand a sale is between a buyer and seller, and I should keep my nose out of it.

SHADY was certainly the wrong word to use. Odd. If I could rephrase, I'd use that word. Odd.

This wasn't meant as a potshot. I just found it odd is all.

I am going to go crawl into a hole now. I appreciate the input.

Most of it.
