Good to hear this forum will stay alive. I'm glad Mr. Emerson weighed in and is willing to assign a moderator to help us "Emerson Addicts" keep our place for discussions. Onward we will go...
 
Shall a moderator be appointed, or is a nomination/vote type of deal?
 
Please keep it going. This is one of only two places I've found to specifically discuss Emerson knives.
 
I don't post here often but do check out the site several times a week. I feel that it is a very worthwhile site and I feel I have learned a lot from it. Always interesting to hear the opinions of others, particularly when I'm thinking of buying a new knife. Mr. Emerson's parameters seem entirely reasonable and I'm glad he chose to explain his reasoning.

I must have missed all of the drama regarding the forum. I vote that you keep the forum open and participate as you can...

Thanks for posting Mr. Emerson. I think the forum works just fine as is. I don't know where people got the idea that this forum isn't used; in fact most of my posts are in this forum! Continue running your businesses sir and making those sweet customs! I hope to meet you at the plaza show this year and shake your hand when I win the lotto! ;)
 
No, I've certainly never seen anyone shut down for voicing an opinion on this forum. Fact of the matter is, I've never seen any company interaction with customers whatsoever on this forum. If you're planning to change that, great! Bring it on! Otherwise, let it die.
 
I've never felt the need to be "moderated" by any company I'm commenting about. I welcome the appointment of a moderator from EKI, but seldom ever see problems in this section.
 
This all seems silly to me, I dont understand why there was even discussion in shutting it down...
 
Gosh, if the EKI forum goes away, then how will I find out about the newest Jersey Shore-esque t shirt with skulls and tough-guy stuff on it? :barf:
 
Keep on trucking! I just got started with EK and love having this forum to discuss and check out the other members blades!

You bring up a good point! However, I've never seen clothing discussed here, so you might just have to fall back on your Jersey Shore DVD box set?
