Got my new Shallot saturday. Man what a knife... It is easily the sharpest knife I have ever had and it has the cool factor of the composite blade. This thing is definitely gonna be carried for a while. Although the ZDP might be kind of hard(kershaw says around 65-67rc) for such a fine tip. These are a limited run of 1200, and i think there are a few left at yourcornerstore.com for around 60 bucks.I also just got this 10 MP camera yesterday so these are experimental close ups and stuff. Pics aren't bad, I especially like the last one. Great pickup for $60 , I have the regular shallot and it is a great knife.
