Just a quick shout out to Jonathan Mcnees. Long story short, I accidentially bent the rod on my KME so I gave my MAC 2 to a buddy to sharpen who also uses a KME. When I got it back, the thumbstuds had been half way sharpened down to match the edge apex lol.
Emailed Mcnees and asked if it was possible to order just a thumbstud, as they weren't listed on the website to order, and also told him what model it was for and the specific finish. That was 2 days ago.
Got an email back this morning from Luke at Mcnees. Simply saying that they were sorry for the situation, and asked for a shipping address. Said they would just ship me the specific thumbstuds to me free of charge, and wished me a good day.
Just such a breath of fresh air to see customer service such as this in today's age.
Especially from a company such as Mcnees who could just as easily just sell the studs for $30 a piece and no would say a word. Also being from my home state of Alabama, Roll Tide!
