Hi all,
Please be 21 to purchase and know your local knife laws. CONUS only. Price includes PP G&S fees and shipping. I reserve the right to sell to whom I wish, though generally the first “I’ll take it” here followed by a PM gets priority. Please read description carefully. Thanks for looking!
Up for grabs is my LNIB WE-produced Shamwari. The WE Shamwari is based of the Gaerth Bull 3 inch Shamwari, and is produced by WE but sold under the Gareth Bull brand. 20CV steel, 3inch blade, hollow grind, black stonewashed titanium handles. The pivot collar (also the overtravel stop) has some small, hard to notice micro-scratches which were present from the factory. This one has been handled and flipped but has not been used to cut anything nor has seen time in the pocket.
I have disassembled it to lube the internals. No side to side play on this guy, great action, drops shut.
I have noticed two issues that, while reasonably minor, I think are worth mentioning. This guy fires hard, and I’ve noticed that the pivot has a tendency to back out. That would be an easy fix with some locktite on the pivot screw. The other thing I’ve noticed is some minor lock slip with hard pressure on the spine of the blade. I can’t get it to disengage, nor does it slip at all when being held in a normal grip, but when inspecting the knife I can get it to show a little lock rock. Again, I haven’t noticed this when holding it as I would when using it. However I think it’s worth mentioning.
Overall this is a fantastic design and well-executed by WE. Just not for me. Asking sold for this one.
I prefer to sell, but would consider trades for an excellent condition small sebenza insingo (double lug preferred), large inkosi insingo, or tri-way Hinderers.
