Shanling M5s Digital Audio Player

I’m the original owner of this excellent sounding Shanling M5s digital audio player, which I bought in April 2019 from Musicteck, a great online audio store. This DAP has been a terrific performer and a constant companion on the go for me over the last 2+ years, but the itch for a new toy hit me, so last week I broke down and ponied up the $$ to Musicteck for the newly released Shanling M6 21 DAP.

Functionally and sonically, this Shanling M5s is fantastic….everything works just as it did new out of the box over two years ago. It sounds SO good, either paired with any of the IEMs I've thrown at it (FLC8s, Sennheiser IE 400 PRO, or the Shanling ME200 listed for sale here), as well as plugged into the auxiliary jack in my 2012 Golf R.

Cosmetically, there are some light scratches on the front glass, but nothing egregious. Everything else is looking great, as I’ve kept it in its protective leather case (also included, of course) throughout the time I’ve had it.

There are positive reviews all over the internet for the Shanling M5s….here are links to a couple of ‘em, where you can also get technical specs, etc:
Asking $275 – includes protective case and all original packaging

I'm also the original owner of these Shanling ME200 IEMs, which I've only had for four weeks and are pretty much like new. Similar to the "itch-scratching" mentioned above with upgrading my Shanling DAP, I also did the same with my IEMs, going from these ME200 to the Shanling ME500.

Asking $85 – includes original packaging, which also has a wide assortment of eartips (unused)

Buy both M5s DAP and ME200 IEMs for $340 bundle discount.

There are a bewildering amount of options out there for audio gear, not to mention a whole lot of "audiophile" BS on the internet, but after doing quite a bit of research and owning Shanling portable audio equipment for a while now, I think they offer excellent value for the money and absolutely fantastic audio (and build) quality. I guess it says something that when I decided to upgrade a bit, that I went right back to Shanling, despite a plethora of other portable audio options.

Payment by PayPal G&S. Shipping by USPS Priority to CONUS only.
