I was watching a video by OUTDOORS55 on youtube and he tested a bunch of different knives to see how well the compared for sharpness and durablitiy and I was shocked that a knife I could purchase off amazon Canada for 67 bucks shipped to my out performed came in second place.

He also said the knife was really sharp outof the box and I have seen others say the same thing that they are really sharp out of the box and the one I got sure was sharp and sharper then my HAP40 ZDP-189 and Shiragomi knives that I purchased and were made in Japan.

I forget the video I seen where a guy tested the hrc and said it was 63hrc as claimed which I was kind of suprised by for a knife made in China, they don't mention the steel it's made out of other then its a Japanese PM Steel and they do make other knives in SG2 and VG-10 from what I understand, the knife I got has a handle that is supposed to be Pakkawood.

The fit and finish on the knife I got is truly flawless and you would never think for the money you would pay the for the knife it would be soo good.

I purchased a Shanzu SANMEIHO and they sell the same knife under a branding called Koraka, has anyone else on the forum tried this brand of knives and if so what is your experience with them.

Probably couldn't " Hang " with my Little Monster though .
Nope nope .
See Monster here if you dare .
Once I start using it I will update the thread on the edge retention and also see how it re-sharpens,I know I had a 3 dollar stainless steel knife given to me that someone got from Walmart and no matter what you did it wouldn't re-sharpen again for whatever the reason.
