If you started grinding now & the first photos have no grinding, then your hammer skills are fantastic.
 
Count, I did a touch of profile grinding IE cleaned up the round tip from forging, ground the teeth in and smoothed the profile, but yes that's as forged.

Rick NICE suggestion, would be tough though as from the teeth the cross section is diamond. I wish I knew how to do Turk's heads....I like that clip design....
 
Should send it off to you for one of those hemp wraps you do, lord knows you like your.....hemp.
 
Sam, when are you gonna forge an Orc to hold onto that beast? ('orc' is not in my browser's spelling dictionary, just so ya know)

I would put a false edge on the back clip Sam.

Looks very cool, I luv harpoon tipped knives. Looking forward to seeing more.
 
I disagree Patrice, I like it just the way it is (although perhaps doing a second version with the tip change Rick suggested might not be a bad idea)
