Share us the CIVIVI Knife you want for the Coming Christmas!

What are your thoughts on the sweeping tanto vs. belly-licious Persian/Trailing point/upswept blade on your Synergy? (Especially as it relates to the 3)
I'd love to hear your "designer's thoughts" on them!
Thanks!
Hello lmcq, thanks so much for asking!

As with the original SpeedTech Synergy and the WE Synergy2 & Mini Synergy knives, I wanted the Civivi Synergy3 to be a functional piece of art. These blades have a high grind line and are ground thin (.008"-.012") at the edge before sharpening. Combined with a nominal blade thickness of .120", this geometry will provide a high level of cutting & slicing performance.

The Persian/trailing point/upswept blade, with its full belly, has a fully useable cutting edge and a sharp tip for fine detail work. Likewise, the tanto blade has as much belly as the shape would allow and is combined with a straight edge that transitions into a sharp tip. Both blade shapes provide the necessary geometry to accommodate cutting/slicing & piercing tasks, and with the right tools (my personal favorite is the WIcked Edge) are easily sharpened to a razor edge.

I hope this provides you with some insight into the design philosophy of the Synergy family. Thanks again for asking!

Ive been waiting for the synergy 3 since I first laid eyes on the synergy 2. Up here in Canada a synergy 2 is 500$ for the most basic models.
Hello Viperhaze!

Thanks for your interest in the Civivi Synergy3. 🙏

Like the other WE & Civivi models, I think you will find the quality of the design, materials & manufacturing to be a value worthy of your consideration.

Pre-ordered the Damascus tanto Synergy 3, but really want to get the sweeping Nitro-V for actual work!

I already own the CIVIVIs I want: 14C28N drop point Brazen, blue carbon fiber Bo, blacked out plaint edge Cogent, green micarta Pintail, and green micarta S35VN Elementum.

2021 has been a big year for CIVIVI and for my collection of CIVIVIs.

What I wish to see in my dream CIVIVI is a Cogent in S35VN drop point like the Brazen's blade shape, and a blue carbon fiber contoured handle on the Bo. None of the milling of the regular Cogent handle, not that it's bad, but I want smooth contoured carbon fiber like the Bo has. I'd gladly pay $100-$120 for that exact configuration, which would be sneaking into the WE price point.
