Poor Lucky here went to the vet yesterday with something wrong with his ears.

Vet said ear mites!

The vet let me and my son come check out the slide. As we're walking down the hallway, I say Those have 8 legs too like ticks and spiders. So what are they? And as we walk into the lab, he goes Arachnids!! I don't think I've ever been more proud.

Our larger dog was definitely going to be named Murphy since he's an Irish Wolfhound*. But my son noticed how... Fluffy... he was as we drove home from the animal shelter, and much to my wife's chagrin, that became his name. Which sparked the conversation about nicknames. She's trying HARD to get it to Murphy!!

So this doubles his life span and halves the food cost. I couldn't be happier!

Oh yes, Fancy stares into my eyes for long periods.
I saw that a test showed Dopamine is being released into the pets brain while doing this.
Works like that on me too, I believe.

Mom has informed me that Tuxedo has moved back into the barn whence he came, but she'll keep one of the kittens that he and Blanchette will have produced. She's due by the end of May.
