Huge animal lover here. Both my dogs were rescue and I wouldn't ever do it any other way...

This is CeCe, a Jackapoo (Jack Russell mixed with Toy Cup Poodle). Super smart, acrobatic, high energy and just the sweetest little thing at home, but a territorial terrorist out in public. Lol A complete embarrassment to walk, but she's just doing what her Russell breed does. No fault there, just a liveable character flaw.

This one is my full Lab Tahiti. Just your typical Lab, the kindest thing you'll ever meet and a gigantic love bug, but also a total wreckingball. She's knocked so many sliding closet doors off their hinges we don't even bother putting them back on anymore. Zero spacial awareness and a tail that could cut your leg in half with a few good whacks when she's excited. I have no idea how her tail got that strong! Lol She's also the slowest walker. Has to stop to sniff literally everything for at least 2 minutes. Really bothers my little one to walk them at the same time. And she's super strong, deceptively so.

Thanks for asking.
I was concerned about tendon atrophy, after having it happen to a pet rabbit with a cast.
You can notice a slight difference if you watch closely, but it doesn’t slow him in the least.
BTW, after a camping trip we returned home to a long hair hinterland mess like yours. Our cat sitter said it was after a huge thunderstorm. She, understandably, didn’t get involved, so Peanut spent 2 days as an outcast. I’ve often wondered how feral long hairs manage.
