If you have designed a fixed blade knife profile and would like to share it with others contact me and I will convert it to a 2D CAD file and post it for download in my free downloads section at www.belnapcustomknives.com. You can name the profile and your name will be in the description as the designer of the profile.
The free downloads section has been a very popular area of my recently opened site. Every profile in there has been downloads lots and lots of time each. The most popular has been the BK Paladin which was a profile I used for CAD drawing practice when I began to learn CAD last year.
How submissions work. You send me a hand drawn sketch with a known dimension and I convert it to a 2D CAD DXF and PDF. The known measurement can be as simple as a 1" straight line. If you use a line then be sure to write how long it is so I don't have to guess.
People that download the free profiles will get a PDF file for their personal use and a DXF file which can be used for making the profile using CNC machining operations such as cutting and milling.
