I just sold off a portion of my knives to get my hands on a knife that I have been waiting for a long long time. The Hinderer XM-18 Bowie with working finish and blue/black scale. All I can say is wow. I. Love. This. Knife. I am a huge sucker for Bowie blades and anything titanium and the blue black color scheme is my favorite. Just wanted to share :).

Congratulations dogg!
That's a great-looking blade. There's nothing better than picking up a Grail. I bet it won't be your last. :D

Looks like it's sure designed nice.
Pardon my ignorance . . . newbie here. . . I don't know about Hinders yet so what is blue on it ? It is in the scale right ?
Glad you found a keeper.

It has slight hints of blue in the grooves of the scale!

Stunning knife!

What a feeling finding and actually getting your hands on a Grail. You going to use it or is that a safe queen?

Nice-looking knife. Congrats! BTW, what's "working finish"? Is like blackwash?

Yea I would call it their version of blackwash. They sandblast it first and then stonewash it. My wife was like "oh, it looks used? Are you sure it's new?" Lol
