Greetings all. I'm new to knife world and also BF. Just got my first blade few days ago. It's a ZT0562CF (with CTS-204P steel). Can't wait to share the happiness and excitement with you all blade enthusiasms.

Carried mine today and I have a backup :)

For the money and for what you get there isn't a better knife on the market. .... maybe comperable but not better
 
I like the overall knife shape very much. And the carbon fiber scale along with titanium frame are satisfying holding in hands.
 
Welcome to BF, I also have a 562CF in my daily rotation. great knife and even as a first knife.\
Know the wait for the bug to bite......
 
Great choice for first knife. I got the elmax version with titanium hardware and custom scale.
 
Ya jumped close to the top of the knife hierarchy purchasing the 562 as a first knife! Awesome knife although the action on the m390 ones imo seemed snappier!
 
haven't had a chance to play with the m390 ones. Didn't get the 204p ones in hands in advance, though. I bought it on the internet.

I was aiming at ZT0550 before knowing it had been discontinued. The carbon fiber scale just caught my eye, so I decided to search for CF version.
 
Pretty awesome first knife. I really enjoy mine. I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed by ZT's quality, and the 0562cf is a great design.
 
Awesome man. Just got mine a couple weeks ago, it is a great knife! If you feel like it is hard to pull the knife out of your pocket when its clipped, try getting a paracord lanyard for it. Really helps with knives that have the "deep carry" pocket clips. Gives you a little more to grab on to at the bottom of the knife to pull it out of your pocket. You can see mine in the first picture below, but it looks like crap and I've since removed it. I am going to make another one for the knife when I get a different color of paracord.

Fantastic knife.

My only complaint was that I always felt like I was leveraging the pocket clip too much when I flipped it, which would eventually make it loose or bent.
I know it sounds like blasphemy, but maybe if they replaced that deep carry clip with the crappy one from the Cryo and the 0452CF, I would like it better...?
 
Mine got a strong detent too. I found it easier to open by slightly pushing the flipper towards the scale itself, rather than just pushing it downwards. And it really needs time to break in. The detent is not as strong as it was when I first got it now.
 
Just ordered the same knife from USA Made Blade. I already have the elmax version and it's easily my favorite knife. You choose a heck of a way to start of your knife experience!
 
Nice knife! I've got the Elmax version and like it a lot. Getting the 0562CF as a first knife sets the bar quite high.
