Are those made from A2 steel? Did Jerry still offer a lifetime warranty when he was using A2?

I ask because I just ordered a large chunk of A2 yesterday to have a bash at

Correct, many of the older blades, as will as the apprentice models don't have talon holes. I dont know when the talon holes started though, my guess would be sometimes in the 90's.

These were made between 1986 and 1987, according to the previous owners.

The finger groved shark is D2, the other one is A2. This is what I was told by their previous owners. I believe Jerry offers the same warranty for all of his knives regardless of the steel. Someone please correct me if you know otherwise.

I've asked the same out of you with a lot of Blades that you have, and so far I've yet to see one arrive at my doorstep :grumpy:
