I recently had my T.A. Davison folders photographed by Sharp by Coop Photography and to say that I am VERY HAPPY with the process
and results is an understatement. I contacted Jim Cooper by e-mail about taking some photos, and he responded to me quickly.
Jim was easy to work with and professional. I sent him 14 knives and he came up with a logical way to photograph them.
I have worked with many people on all kinds of projects in my life, working with Jim is a seamless experience.
I received the photos as digital images first and the quality was GREAT. Today, I received the knives back in mint condition and the hard copy photographs. The quality of the photograghs are FANTASTIC. I have seen Jim's photos online and they are GREAT, but there is a big difference looking at them on my computer screen with dust or glare and the actual photographs. Until you see them in person it is hard to realize how nice the photographs are.
I give Sharp by Coop Photography a AAA +

Can you post some examples please! Thanks!!

Hi Tim,

What a nice surprise reading your kind post. When you're happy, I'M Happy. :D

Nice to hear how you enjoyed the prints. 98% of the images are seen online by viewers, but not through a print album.

I wish you the same high marks in return!

orixa: Here's a sampling in an ongoing thread.

orixa,
If you would like to see the photos that Jim Cooper took of my T.A. Davison folders, there is a thread in the " Forum "
section under " Custom & Handmade Knives " listed as " Todd Davison Slip Joint Knives ( Coop's Photos ). "
You will see why I am pleased with his camera work.
I also give Blade Forums a lot of HIGH MARKS and THANKS for allowing everybody the opportunity to share what they enjoy.
