Sharp Endura!

Well I prefer the liner lock because I frequently wear gloves at work and the military was designed for use with gloves. As for the value, I feel that the ENDURA is one of the highest performance to cost ratios on the market right now! I wish the military was less expensive. Less than $150 would be nice. There is no reason it should cost more than a PM2. But for me, there is no better folder than a Millie, so I pay up.

Will probably end up with a Millie in time anyway, it looks really good:)

If you're happy with the VG10 performance, there's no need to upgrade.
I found for my use, ZDP keeps that high level of sharpness longer. ZDP does require more care during sharpening such as light touch on DMT. VG10 is also much more stainless than ZDP.

This is my first VG10 blade, so time will tell, but after some time with Emersons I have found to value easy sharpening over extreme edge retention in my workknives. But a Dragonfly in ZDP is tempting, just to try it!

I have the gray Endura like yours. It is one of my favorite knives. It will smooth up a lot after a bit of use. I also have the PM2 and I prefer most everything about the Endura over the PM2 (but that is just me). After you own it for a while you may find that you prefer the Endura, as well.

As for the comments about the Military, that is one great knife. I like back locks better than liner locks (stronger and a bias towards close) but the Military is one of the few liner locks that I do like. Get one, you will not regret it.

Time will show what the next will be, it can be anything from cqc 7v to the serrated para 2, or ladybug to military.. :) it's good to have choices!

But what angles do you guys keep on your VG10? I'm really enjoying the sliciness I now, but for work it may be a bit thin.. does anyone have any experiences with 15/15 vs 20/20 on this knife?
