Thanks.^ If you had a belt grinder you could do the EKI edge!
I strop with a piece of mouse pad glued to a 2x4 with buffing compound worked in.

... The Emerson grind is a little difficult at first to strop for a right-hander but once it's learned it does a pretty good job for maintenance.

I've learned to switch hands when I strop so stropping an Emerson just means doing it left handed for the bevel and right handed to remove any burr.
