If you look a bit to the right of the big cut, you'll see the cat food can wound that i mentioned in another post...

By the way, does anyone else think this little group of people might be a bit... unusual? We chop a big hole in something important, then, before we let anyone sew it up we think "Oh, i need to get some pics for BF!"

Maybe we should have an "Oh Shit, I'm Bleedin!" thread?

do you tell a cool story with the scar?

I think im gonna tell people it happened during an epic battle during the great thumb wars. Ill finish by saying "you should see the other guys thumb!"

Just skip the lidocaine, hurts like crazy more than three stitches would. When they jam that long finish nail sized needle into the meat of your hand you got pain then and later. I have been through it enough to tell them just scrub it out and stitch it up, I won't wiggle or puke. If you are old enough to play with sharp things you are old enough to John Wayne up on the repair job when you slip.
 
Looked bad; stitches are great. Pain: not so great.
Good healing to you. Yeah, I do dumb things too.
