Sharpened Prybars!

Right now you can get a Busse Boss Jack in a standard finish with micarta handles for $270 plus shipping. That's a 12" OAL 6.5" blade .220" thick FFG cutting machine.

Great price in my book.

My cousin recently got a Boker Pry Mate. It is insane. The thing is absurdly thick and made of some wicked strong N690BO steel. Looks pretty nice too :)

I'm nuts about my Becker BK2 - it does what needs done without breaking the bank.

It's mighty yet delicate...

TOPS Pryknife is one that is a rare mention.

What's the hardness of your average prybar, the shorter ones, 12" or less in length? Are they softer than most knives? I've never broken a prybar or a knife, well maybe a tip.
I own the pryknife, and don't really know what it's limits are. Could the average man even break a 1/4" thick knife, without using a lever? By break, I mean snapping it in two pieces.

I had a British MOD 4 about 16 years ago that got stolen. :-(

If I had a belt grinder back then, I probably could have got it reprofiled to a usable state. Loved its squat, rough wood scale aesthetic. Anyone got pics of one?

Here's a vid I shot of me and some Firemen taking a car apart this weekend with a BK3.

Google Buck 652 knife, that's factory. 1/4" thick besh wedge. About $50.

There's a folder too!

Thanks for posting those. I thought I was going to have to go to Blade to see the Besh wedge. For some reason, in the Blade Magazine where they talked about it they didn't bother to show a decent picture. Now that I've seen it I'm even more perplexed. The best blade tip is no blade tip?
