Sharpener - Help me spend some money

Here's another Sharpmaker vote. I resisted at first and bought some honed from Razor Edge Systems because I wanted to maintain my freehand sharpening skills, which are OK. Those worked great, but the Sharpmaker is so much faster and easier.

Personally, I want something I can take out of the kitchen tool drawer, put a shaving edge on a knife or two, and put away in 10 minutes or so. I can do that easily with a Sharpmaker. Maybe I could do it freehand, but I have to slow down to maintain a consistent angle. Can you do that with an Edge Pro or the like?
 
No, the Edge Pro takes about five minutes or so to set up. Time well spent, but you get 90% of the performance out of a Sharpmaker so that sounds like the one for you.
