Sharpener Q

Is it possible to buy the new base for the sharpener? I have two of the Tri-angles, extra rods and sleeves. I like the new base design.

copfish - I don't think the old stones will fit and create the same angles. Sorry. The injection molds are made first to determine final sizes and tolerances required. As a result the new stones are slightly larger than the old ones. This would alter the sharpening angle by several degrees. You could wait until your old one wears out?

Sal, as good as the quality is, it would still take a hundred Boy Scouts a hundred years to wear out the Tri-angle... I guess I will need to buy a new set! When will they be available? Need a field-tester? I am across the hills from ya!
