I've pretty much relied on a DMT 600 grit. About a week ago I touched up my 112FG on the 600 and was satisfied with it, but then a couple of days ago I bought a DMT 325 grit and tried it out on the 112FG, followed by a few strokes on the 600. I feel like it ended up quite a bit sharper.

That's pretty much what I do with my 112 fg. Diamondstones at 320 grit and 600 grit followed by a couple swipes on ceramic and a light strop and it gets screaming sharp!
