Sharpening a knife?

Is there a good write up on sharpening a knife with stones available somewhere on the net that anyone can direct me to? I am going to purchase a Spyder 204 but would like to perfect my stone skills also.

you can definitely find good instructions free on the 'net...but a great book for sharpening techniques on all kinds of knives and tools is leonard lee's "complete guide to sharpening"...john juranitch's "razor edge guide to sharpening" is good too, but doesn't cover many tools...mostly knives...
