Sharpening Angle for MT LCC?

I'm new to Microtechs and am uncertain which angle to use on the rather shallow factory edge grind. Can Anyone tell me what the factory angle is? I use a Sharpmaker 204 and would prefer not to re-profile.

The Sharpmaker nicely finished the existing factory bevel on mine. Very quick, very easy, VERY sharp!

Hey Richard,
The angles (from my personal experience) vary between microtech models and individual knives.
My own LCC, which is a combo edge, has an angle of 17º.
I've noticed all LCC's are real close to 17º.
I just happend to have a generic wood base ceramic rod holder that was at 17º so I use that.
If you did the edge on a sharpmaker at 20º I'm sure you wouldn't lose any performance because i\the blade is ground thin anyway.
It might even last longer because of the thicker edge.

Thanks Fumbler, I'll do 20 degrees. I emailed Microtech but have not heard back yet. I'm hooked on these LCCs and prefer them to my Sebenza for EDC, great knives!
