Sharpening choil

I usually like them also. Especially the long drawn out choils that go all the way to the front of the scales like on a Sebenza. However I like those mainly for aesthetics. You can always add a choil if you wanted. I put a little choil on my Kershaw OD1. I did it with the stones on my Sharpmaker. It was a slow process though so I figured I'd just do a little bit each time I sharpened it. I do however really like the Spartan SHF because it's not like every other Ti framelock. I really like that it doesn't have a steel lockbar insert and does it well. I also didn't like the lack of choil when I first saw them but it's grown on me. I just looked at mine and it does look like it's going to be a little bit of a pain to sharpen though. What I usually do on knives like that is put a small zip tie around the blade where I want the edge to stop and them I sharpen right up and almost into the zip tie. That will give you a nice clean line.

Not a deal breaker, takes 5 minutes max to add one. Also I find many sharpening choils snaggy for the things I cut. I prefer mine to be shallow or slope towards the blade at a angle so even if what I’m cutting ends up in the choil it slides towards the blade.
