Sharpening coated blades.

What do I do If I have a coated blade and edge is worn down enough that I have to recantle, or reshape it.I think the paint or coating would clogg up the stones on my sharpmaker "(HELP)"?:jerkit:

gine---Let Spyderco regrind the blade for you. Or, can you use a belt grinder?

A belt grinder and a buffing wheel and yer set. Make sure you practice on some junk!!
