Sharpening Hell Day

On Tuesday, we sharpened all of the knives that shipped this week, AND the whole blade show batch. 115 knives in total. Hell day. Why can't I automate this?! BUT, during the day I got a pic of a nice burr. The pic was taken through a magnifying lamp, so the lighting is horrid, but you can really see the burr.

Thats a crazy burr! Ive never gotten one like that before.

I feel your pain with sharpening day. The worst for me is when I do machetes. Freehanding an 18 inch edge is time consuming and just kills belts. Hope you didnt have too many of those to do.

I've been looking into a building a jig for final edges but right now free hand is the best and quickest method I have available.
