How do all you guys with 2x72 belt grinders or people who use the stock removal method of making knives, sharpen your knives? I planned on sharpening my knives on my belt grinder.. I have various grits all the way up to 3000 grit then I have a leather belt for polishing compound. Lately I saw a video, and a guy uses a knife sharpening system (lanskey sharpening system) which controls the angle of the sharpening. Is there something that I can use on a belt grinder that will help me control the angle at which I am sharpening? Is this important?
