Sharpening M390?

After the diamonds rods, what about touching the edge on the UF rods and not stropping it?

I sharpen S110v and M390 a lot and I use diamonds on M390 and then a good quality water stone then strop,once you have apexed the edge with diamonds your fine to move onto a water stone ceramic or even just strop the edge.

I often for polished edge's on M390 if that's what the person want's I will use Venev diamonds up to the 1200 OCB which is 4K JIS then use a Chosera or some type of water stone to remove the scratch then strop,your not removing much metal with ceramic's or water stones that you need to worry about abrading the VC at that point.
