Got a few of $2.75 5C collets, a $30 "grinding fixture" and a
$36 diamond flare cup grinding wheel . Will need to turn a
1 1/4 adapter for wheel , but I hope to report some time soon
on success of sharpening/reviving dull/chipped endmills, of which I
have a few now - using all of the above plus my Sieg X3 mill.

The total investment is less than cost of 2 good 1/2" US-made carbide
EMs and if it all works, it is well ;) worth it .

Observant readers remember my earlier posts of successfully using a $12 drill sharpening fixture from Grizzly

I'd like to see pics of your setup when you are done.

I sharpen machine tools for a living, and I always like to see alternative set ups.

My Avatar is me grinding end mills at work on a Cincinnatti 2MT Tool Grinder.

Haven't tried any of that yet. Learning HSS lathe bits and drill bits was fairly frustrating though... but what about cutting metal isn't? :o :p

I did a lot of tool grinding and sharpening and I'd be interested in seeing your setup too.
