Sharpening my new khuk

ok...what am I supposed to do now? upload it to somebody's account?

I'm willing to do it...if someone else can take care of it.
 
If you're ever used IRC I can tell you where to find me and send it pretty much 24/7. You could also email it to my gmail account, if your email service will let you send it. I could provide an FTP service for a while once I've got it.

Editted to add: I don't an FTP server installed just this minute for you to upload it through, but if no-one else steps up to the plate I'll plonk in FileZilla again and you can send it to me that way if you'd prefer.

This is JUST the sort of thing Bittorrent was designed for...
 
This doesn't produce a convex edge, but does give you a great slicer.

I use a Norton Lily White Washita and a Dan's white hard Arkansas stone. I sharpen the convex curve near the cho with a Norton large gouge cone, fine India - the 6" jumbo cone. This edge is probably better for fighters than choppers.

This produces a shaving sharp edge, but not a convex one. It takes perhaps 5-10 min at most....generally less than 5 min.

I just got a great deal on a Delta 1X30" belt sander, and so I may experiment with a convex edge for the next blade that needs sharpening.
 
GRRRR....One of the things that I REALLY need to learn to do someday, is to properly sharpen a knife!!!!!

Convex what?? Edge angles huh?? GRRRR gotta learn how to do that convex thingy!!!!

I have gmail too...but I have noticed in the past that there is a limit how much you can mail...and I don't want to have to send 50 .rar files...:(
