Sharpening Q (yes, again)

Yes, I did shave the sides of my face with my Mega Salyan. I was curious if it could be done. It did a pretty good job too. I have to agree that there are much better tools for that.

A razor sharp edge does help to prevent the khukuri from deflecting.

Uncle Bill,

I would rather face a shaving cut than a chop from a deflected khukuri.

While at lunch one of my friends mentioned travelling, I said well it could be dangerous over there. This got the response of "I thought you were brave with your collection of knives, survival gear, and firearms". I said with a straight face "you got to be kidding, I just don't want to die".
